In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and automating solutions in that support multiple lines of business. You will provide technical support for multiple critical services including Service Delivery Framework which allows partners to access TELUS services and TELUS Identity used in Customer Authentication.
This Dev/Ops role will expand our current Agile team which work to deliver many innovative solutions for TELUS's partners and customers.Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together!
The Service Enablement Team embraces new ideas and innovations that will drive customer satisfaction from both internal and external customers.
This role in the team is integral to the availability of many customer & partner dependent services. You will interact with peer programmers identifying & implement best practices with a key focus on software reusability, reliability, scalability and security. Your work with Industry leaders will put TELUS at the leading edge of technology that delivers robust, cost effective solutions to our customers. You will develop and lead teams to remove risks from the network driving the reduction of failures and decreasing the mean time to restore services.

•Collaborate with architects, developers, and vendors, to understand business requirements and translate them into production grade capability and services
•Develop technical documentation, produce best-in-class code, logging, monitoring and automated testing
•Lead root cause analysis of application incidents and implement recommendations to improve or correct the situation with focus on permanent solutions
•Challenge Vendors to deliver robust solutions to complex software related issues
•Provide solutions for new services and make recommendations to improve product quality, reliability, performance, and scalability; conduct periodic software improvement cycles
•Act as a subject matter expert for multiple software solutions across the team, communicating moderate to complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical personnel
•Manage capital funds associated with project delivery, project forecasting, deliver solutions that drive savings and efficiency
•Ability to continually learn, understand and apply new technologies
•Must possess excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skillsQualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle...With:
•Deep Knowledge of IBM API Management in implementing REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Plans, Security Policies
•Expert knowledge in developing with XSLT, XML, Java programming
•Expert knowledge of continuous integration tools such as GIT, Jenkins, Ansible
•Familiarity with other tools such as Mongo database, F5 (including iRule, iControl)
•Advanced knowledge with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
•Experience working in an Agile Team environment
•Excellent communication, troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
•University degree in Computer Science or Information or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and practical experience in a relevant field will be considered Great-to-have's...
•Experience with IBM WebSphere Datapower Integration Appliances XG45, IDG (Firmware Version: 7.1.x.x -7.5.x.x)
•Experience in OAuth2.0, SAML and OpenID Connect
