Department Overview
The Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM) department of TD Bank is responsible for overseeing the management of TD Bank's Canadian and US P&C: non-trading market risk, consolidated liquidity risk and capital position.

Overview of Responsibilities
The Senior Treasury Analyst, Balance Sheet Measurement & Project will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) that will drive TBSM's integrated delivery against numerous implementations and projects covering TBSM data strategy, Market Risk and FTP Measurements.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to leverage their relevant business experience and work on initiatives that touch on various treasury concepts while strengthening stakeholder management and leadership skills within a project capacity.

- Ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all measurement activity contributing to the reporting from the Balance Sheet Management group. As a centralized function in TBSM, the team is responsible for driving measurement activities that provide insights on the Bank's Segment reporting NII and NIM results and Non-Trading Market Risk Positions
- Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of measurement activity that contributes to the reporting to our front office traders, Finance partners, Product Partners, Risk Management, Board, Financial Disclosures and Regulators.
- Building a best-in-class measurement & analytics infrastructure and oversight of the Non-Trading Books and Funds Transfer Pricing processes.
- Putting in place best-in-class governance processes to ensure accuracy of results.
- Ensuring all project work that impacts the broader Balance Sheet Measurement and Analytics team [BSMA] are executed in a timely manner with effective management of resources across partner projects, internal TBSM projects and major implementations.
- Develop and foster relationships with stakeholders across the bank, including other Finance functions, 2nd line and 3rd line risk functions.
- Effectively communicating our results, insights, and project delivery impacts to our stakeholders.
Overview of Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities of this position include:
- Perform comprehensive analysis, provide business requirements, review business regression test results to ensure result variances are explained and accepted
- Support TBSM teams by providing expertise on banking product features, valuation systems and project expectations
- Engage multiple stakeholders to maintain a cohesive vision making sure everyone is on the same page, understand the process implications and manage the end-to-end deliverables
- Develop and foster a positive working relationship with partners and stakeholders
- Provide updates on the project and present to all levels of the organization including senior management
Specific Educational Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree
- MBA/CFA/FRM designations are considered assets
Familiarity with:
- Basic ALM and Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) concepts and their application to retail Mortgage, Loan and Deposit products
- TBSM processes (Canoe, VISION, and Indigo) and how they interconnect
- The features and characteristics of retail banking products
- Agile methodology for project delivery
- Experience with SQL queries, excel and data analysis
Experience with:
- Mapping-out/re-engineering processes and workflows, including associated change management
- Simplifying and presenting complex concepts and business results in terms understandable by audiences with varied backgrounds including senior bank executives
- Gathering & analyzing financial data to derive value added analysis
- Managing cross functional teams to deliver on key initiatives
