Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together:

As a Senior Technical Writer, specializing in Knowledge Management principles, you will be the champion for solving the knowledge transfer challenge for large complex projects that span multiple teams. You will assist key project stakeholders to identify, develop and enable the transfer of important information that is needed by various team members within and across teams, throughout the software development life cycle.

You will identify technologies, strategies and practices to identify, retain, and distribute this important information. A formal training background would be ideal for this position.

Here's how:
    •Work with teams throughout TELUS Health to understand Knowledge Management (KM) needs and jointly develop KM strategies, plans, and processes •Apply information needs analysis, content development and documentation/training practices to ensure effective knowledge transfer •Design and lead the implementation of knowledge information storage & maintenance mechanisms •Apply industry best practice regarding collaboration, organizational communication and change management •Develop mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of KM within TELUS Health


You're the missing piece of the puzzle:
    •5 - 10 years in various communication, analysis, product, project management or development roles in software development environments with at least 2 years implementing knowledge management best practices. •positive people skills including group facilitation and enabling collaboration within and across teams •you are a highly collaborative team player who is committed to delivering quality work and services, sharing knowledge and skills, and acquiring new knowledge, skills and abilities •experience in effecting change management in complex organisations •familiar with a broad range of collaboration tools and processes, such as Confluence, Confluence plug-ins, SharePoint, Slack, etc •a strong understanding of the principles and practices of software development and software development life cycle, especially related to Agile methodologies •project management experience for the development of complex software products or services is a definite asset •experience in business presentations and business case development •superior verbal, presentation and written communication skills including excellent command of written and spoken English •a Bachelor degree in communication, technology (engineering, computer science), business or an allied discipline •French language skills are an asset
