Do you like Alexa? Do you have a passion for cars? Do you love bleeding edge technology? We are looking for exceptional developers to work on enabling Alexa - the voice controlled personal assistant behind Amazon Echo - in automobiles. The team seeks to provide seamless experiences for customers with Alexa in the car.

As a Technical Program Management you will be responsible for leading the development and launch of core product features. You will have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define these product features, drive the system architecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.

The ideal candidate is clearly passionate about new opportunities and has a demonstrable track record of success in delivering new features and products. A commitment to team work, hustle, and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are absolute requirements. Creating reliable, scalable, and high performance products requires exceptional technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science, and practical experience building low-level solutions. This person has thrived and succeeded in delivering high quality technology products/services in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift fast.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 7+ years of Technical Program Management experience in the software development industry
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent industry experience
• Experience as a Technical Program Manager with knowledge in development processes
• Experience with creating and tracking complex development schedules
• Experience synthesizing and presenting data to upper management - providing strategic recommendations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience managing projects in Unix/Linux environments, distributed systems and/or developing large scale web applications
• 3+ years of coding experience in Java, C++, or Perl (or equivalent)
