The Senior Solutions Architect will play a key role in shaping the strategy and implementation of Retail Credit applications. The Architect will lead the evolution of the Retail Credit technology architecture and provide architecture direction using best of breed design patterns and principles. The Architect will partner with business stakeholders, technology leadership and development teams to drive the development of end-to-end solutions. The Architect will primarily be responsible for the creation and rationalization of solutions as well as the communication of the same to both business and technology stakeholders and providing guidance to the delivery teams for its implementation.

Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience including 5+ years of architecture experienceAdvanced knowledge, experience, and understanding of architecture, application development, application systems design, and integrationSolid experience with Middleware technologies (e.g. MQSeries, IBM Information Broker, Camunda, Kafka), Cloud technologies (Bluemix, Pivotal Cloud Foundry), design approaches including event-driven architecture, cloud-based deployments, REST/API first applications, and Service Oriented approaches.Extensive knowledge of Personal Financing Products (e.g. Loans, Mortgages, Credit Cards) and associated application processesStrong leadership skills and demonstrated experience with program/projects involving complex integration of technologies/platforms across functional technical teams.Ability to quickly evaluate options, make decisions and execute within an intense technology environment with multiple stakeholders with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical, consultative, and team communication / facilitative skillsCapability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and relationships with global architecture areas, Application Development, T&O management, RBC business groups, Global Technology Infrastructure, and others
Expertise in Cloud, Services and DevOpsFamiliarity with SAP CRM, Process IntegratorKnowledge in big data technologies such as Bluemix, API management, Hadoop
