Brainhunter is currently seeking the services of a " Senior Solution Architect" for a contract role with one of our valued Clients.

Duration: ~ 8 months
Hourly Compensation : $110- $115(INC)
Enhanced Reliability - Yes
Any specific tools/skillset: - CIAM / Identity architecture: strong understanding of SSO/OIDC/OAuth2, MFA, token/claim design, session management, identity lifecycle, and secure integration patterns Authorization model design: ability to design and operationalize RBAC/ABAC/ReBAC patterns, including policy management, entitlement modeling, and auditability Secure, customer-facing portal architecture: experience designing scalable web portal solutions with usability, availability, and security built in (including OWASP considerations) Integration architecture: API-first design (REST/GraphQL where applicable), event-driven patterns, system-to-system integration, and dependency mapping across teams Cloud-native and platform acumen: practical knowledge of cloud landing zones, networking, secrets management, observability, resilience patterns, and cloud integration approaches Architecture governance & SDLC gates: producing fit-for-purpose artifacts (HLD/LLD, ADRs, threat models) and guiding solutions through formal reviews Risk management and security mindset: ability to identify security/privacy risks early, assess trade-offs, and drive mitigation plans in regulated environments Systems thinking and roadmap leadership: capability to define target-state architecture, sequencing, and transition states for multi-year modernization programs Stakeholder influence & communication: clear articulation of options, trade-offs, and rationale to technical and non-technical audiences; strong facilitation skills Agile delivery leadership: working effectively with product and delivery teams (Scrum/Kanban), enabling iterative delivery while maintaining architectural integrity.
Role Profile:
We are seeking a Solution Architect to support the Plan Administration Modernization MCLGA (PAMM) initiative. PAMM delivers customer facing enterprise portal solutions and integrates with Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platforms for authentication and authorization.
The Solution Architect is a thought leader who owns the architectural vision for PAMM, develops solution strategies and roadmaps, and enables successful delivery through strong governance, collaboration, and technical leadership

What You Will Do:
- • Lead end-to-end architectural analysis across multiple delivery teams to ensure alignment to a unified solution strategy
• Own the architectural vision for PAMM and guide solution design decisions to achieve business, customer, and security outcomes
• Translate business, security, and technical requirements into high-quality end-to-end solution designs
• Design secure access and authorization patterns using modern access management frameworks (RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC)
• Ensure consistent application of enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and capabilities
• Follow architecture governance processes and prepare artifacts for gate based SDLC reviews and architecture forums
• Identify architectural risks, gaps, and dependencies, including CIAM dependencies, and recommend mitigation strategies
• Act as a trusted technology advisor to Product Owners, delivery teams, and program leadership
• Support roadmap planning, sequencing, and scope definition for complex, multi?year initiatives
• Provide coaching and mentorship to technical teams and support developers on complex design and integration challenges
• Contribute to early-stage technology research, prototyping, and evaluation of emerging tools and approaches
• Operate effectively within Agile delivery environments, balancing iterative delivery with architectural integrity
What You Will Bring:
- • A bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering (or equivalent) with 8+ years of proven experience performing in a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect role within complex enterprise environments
• Strong experience with gate based SDLC and architecture governance
• Deep expertise in end-to-end solution architecture, including complex integrations and API design
• Working knowledge of API driven and event driven microservice based architecture patterns
• Experience with cloud native architecture and cloud integration patterns
• Experience delivering customer facing enterprise portal solutions
• Strong ability to translate business, security, and technical requirements into clear architectural direction
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate trade-offs, risks, and feasibility
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) delivery environments
• Ability to lead through ambiguity, challenge assumptions, and provide architectural thought leadership
