At TELUS Security, we strive to always be steps ahead, tackling the toughest security challenges head-on with top talent and cutting edge technology.

The Cybersecurity Architecture Team is the foundational pillar and natural integrator that leads overall security outcomes for TELUS. The team is an assembly of innovators who each bring unique wisdom and competency built from their storied career paths, involving a spectrum of technologies, practices, roles, and projects. Together, we engage stakeholders across the business and collaborate to identify, plan, consult, review, and prioritize change initiatives to security capabilities that will serve to protect the business of TELUS and our customers.

Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

Envision, establish and drive TELUS' Security technology roadmap for the managed security services domain. You are a strategic evangelist who draws on passion for capability-building to constructively break through challenges in order to chart a path forward leading to sustainable delivery of benefits to mission. You will leverage your experience in a managed services context to rapidly orient yourself with stakeholders and their functions and processes, communicate in both business and technical terms, and discover and prioritize gaps for maturity improvement.

It is essential for this team to strategically deploy their capabilities to meet the demands of an increasingly complex and ever-changing environment where the landscape is rapidly evolving.

Here's how

Every day you will take on exciting challenges to architect and coordinate the Managed Security Services (MSS) Portfolio, collaborating with your stakeholders and architecture peers to manage the respective portfolio architectures, and the strategic capability roadmap for TELUS Security.

Security may have been your long-time focus, or is a developing passion. Whichever the case may be, you see yourself having conversations about our product portfolio with the Product teams about the security outcomes we can deliver to our customers, and ideate around how to enhance them and optimize their delivery through process/technology improvement.

You will engage with your stakeholders to understand their operating contexts, drivers, objectives, challenges, and planned initiatives. Along with internal security SMEs, your stakeholders will include several multidisciplinary teams such as product portfolio, complex/custom solutions, market facing business units and enterprise teams.
