As a Senior Product Manager, you oversee TELUS Security service roadmap planning. You play a pivotal role gathering competitive intelligence research, defining products/services, monitoring trends in the cyber security services market and building financial business models for new services. Moreover, you are a champion for these development opportunities driving these initiatives to commercial availability in close collaboration with various teams such as architecture, design & development and go-to- market teams.Here's how
•Full-life cycle product planning, including processes, operations, support, pricing, service level agreements, terms and conditions, marketing programs, training, sales collateral and presentations, webinars and profit & loss management
•Work with cross functional teams (such as Professional Services, Product Management, Secure Operations Center and Product Management teams) in development of product and service development from concept to launch
•Strategic pipeline planning for new product development including the definition, sourcing, marketing, logistics, and product development
•Establish, negotiate and manage vendor, partner and hosting relationships
•Develop a deep understanding of emerging global trends and technologies by leveraging competitive landscape research, market reports and analyst reports to create winning business cases
•Lead cross functional teams across all business units to translate new product ideas and strategies into successful businesses, by utilizing expert leadership skills and gaining alignment behind these initiatives through the effective influencing of stakeholders
•Investigate opportunities for collaboration on service introduction with other TELUS Product teams
•Responsible to prime the economic, competitive, and technical analysis of emerging products and solutions to support growth initiatives
•Accountable for managing the capital envelope associated with given project and/or initiative (including measurement of project performance and ROI) Qualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•With your 5+ years of product management experience in a technology focused vertical
•Acknowledged for your solid IT Security knowledge (Governance, risk, compliance, technical, operations, deployment)
•Respected for your strong product management knowledge
•Valued for your visionary approach
•Recognized for your excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills
•Skilled in financial modelling and building compelling business cases Great-to-haves
•Understanding of security information event management (SIEM), next generation firewall, threat intelligence, endpoint, identity and access management or similar security technologies
•With a college or University degree
