As a Senior Market Manager/Marketing Manager with the TELUS Cyber Security Solutions marketing & channel engagement team, you will be responsible to develop and execute strategies for our marketing programs and initiatives, develop and report outcome-based metrics, manage program budgets, track competitive developments and explain their implications.
This role will be key to driving the growth in our B2B security business and will work closely with product management and sales teams to amplify our messages. Establishing partnerships with TELUS business marketing, corporate security communications, TELUS WISE and the marketing teams of other TELUS security companies will be key to success in this role.Here's how
•Strategic Planning: Consult with product managers, sales leaders and customers to develop marketing strategies & campaigns that support the delivery of messages across audiences and mediumsQualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•Project Management: Manage the execution of marketing programs and strategic events with a strong sense of ownership for your portfolio and with a pragmatic approach
•Passion for Growth: Support the success of our sales channels to capitalize on the market opportunity and generate profitable growth
•Marketing & Brand: Ideate/define and apply a consistent and compelling vision and approach to communications including narrative, brand and standards
•Thought Leadership: Develop a deep understanding of our target market, product and service offerings, emerging trends, competitive advantages and threats to develop strategies and plans for marketing initiatives
•Innovation & Creativity: Drive innovation by looking for new ways of working, exploring best practices and challenging communication channels in new and effective ways
•Partnership: Develop strong stakeholder relationships to craft product, channel and promotional activities that create a unified and powerful market presence
•Respected for your 8+ years' experience in marketing roles Great-to-haves
•Experience with marketing automation tools and hosting virtual events
•Strong leadership, project and process management skills and the ability to motivate and lead cross functional teams
•Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
•Effective problem solver with the ability to resolve issues in creative ways
•Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders & partners, meet tight deadlines and tolerate ambiguity
•A post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related discipline
•Working knowledge of cyber security and an understanding of basic security concepts A bit about us
