The Credit Solutions Group ("CSG") is focused on helping to create and implement complex structured financial solutions providing superior risk adjusted after-tax rewards for Ultra High Net Worth and High Net Worth individuals, families, and business leaders. The department brings value through custom loan structures that help private Banking clients build net worth, protect what matters, implement tax-efficient strategies and leave a legacy. The group's mandate is national in scope.
The target market includes UHNW and HNW individuals and their families, successful business entrepreneurs and professionals.
The group has direct accountability and responsibility to assist Private Banking Market Managers, Private Bankers, PWM Advisors and Business Bankers across the country in credit structures. The Senior Manager will be a key contributor to the overall client team and will recommend and be involved in credit structure, pricing and negotiation with the client alongside the sales/relationship team.
The position will have direct responsibility to drive credit growth within the assigned regions.
The Senior Manager, Credit Solutions position reports to the AVP, CSG and interfaces closely with Credit Risk Management.
The position works in a team environment and is responsible for maximizing Business Results and maintaining controls for credit and operational risk.
The position is responsible for coaching Associates / Credit Managers / National Managers / Support Officers in meeting business targets by recommending alternatives in structure or pricing to meet the needs of customers and to adhere to TD's risk management policies and credit appetite.
The candidate is expected to be knowledgeable of and comply with Bank and Industry Codes of Conduct.
Assess all credit applications, ensuring they provide a high quality of risk assessment, credit structure, due diligence and credit presentation.
Interpret and apply TD's risk management strategy (both credit and operational).
Implement and operate systems to identify and mitigate operational risk issues.
Understand changing market conditions and remain knowledgeable of relevant industry issues.
Deliver exceptional service at every interaction and execute on plans to continuously improve the customer experience. Requirements
