Department Overview

The xVA team is responsible for the development of platform for calculation of various Valuation Adjustments (e.g. adjustments for Credit, Funding, Capital, etc.).

Job Description
Required Core Engineering Skills:
  • Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Proficient in asynchronous and concurrent programming
  • Experience building and delivering scalable and distributed systems using various programming languages
  • Solid understanding of various approaches to data storage and indexing
  • Experience building and maintaining large scale distributed systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
  • Solid understanding and active practicing of test-driven development and familiarity with best-of-breed tools and technologies
  • In-depth understanding of the Linux operating system
  • Familiarity with AngularJS and comparable frameworks
  • Experience with the following: Java, Scala, Spark, Kafka
  • Experience with Java Spring framework
  • Has an eye for design and usability
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Bitbucket, Maven, Azure, Jenkins

Nice to have Functional Skills:
  • Experience within Capital Markets and strong understanding of the financial markets and counterparty credit risk
  • Experience in calculated metrics such as PFE/CVA/FVA/P&L Attribution trading strongly preferred
  • Experience with Derivatives/SFT/Bonds/Futures
