Reporting to the Director of Finance - National Audit, the Senior Financial Analyst will provide the analysis of monthly results, financial planning, forecasting, and providing other complex analysis and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
What you will do
- Responsible for the coordination, creation of monthly reports and forward-looking analysis
- Provide analysis and recommendations to support strategic business decisions
- Collaborate with other regional Financial Analysts and provide support to the Director of Finance - Audit with regards to nationally driven initiatives
- Support the Firm strategy of identifying opportunities to streamline processes and continuously explore opportunities to find efficiencies and improve the services provided
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required by the business
What you bring to the role
- Data driven and able to work with large amounts of information from various sources.
- See opportunities to create efficiencies by leveraging technology as PowerBI, Power Automate and AI
- Capability to understand the operational side of business, the key business drivers and their financial impact
- Self-motivated, self-starter displaying high initiative, willingness to learn, and ability to operate independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate to internal and external stakeholders, and with all levels of the firm
- Capability to work in a collaborative environment
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field
- Strong analytical, and organizational skills
- Software knowledge in the following areas:
- PowerBI - able to create dashboards and reports
- Advance level in Excel including coding in VBA
- HFM - Hyperion Financial Management
- Familiar with SAP
