The opportunity:
KPMG's Financial Services Advisory Practice helps shape the future of organizations as they define, plan and execute their strategic & transformational journey s . We partner with clients through their strategic planning and implementation, digital & operational transformation, operational & cost efficiency, data & analytics and regulatory transformations to support strategic business objectives. We are seeking experienced Senior Consultants to strengthen our Financial S ervices advisory team focused on Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth and Asset Management areas .
What you will doAs a Senior Consultant , you will have a key role in deliver ing client engagements and support ing business development initiatives :
- Support the delivery of strategy/transformation engagements including :
- C lient interactions and development of deliverables
- Develop engagement artifacts including reports (power point or word), excel files to analyze client data sets
- Manage engagement timeline including review and delivery of key artifacts with clients
- Contribute to problem solving / brainstorming sessions with clients and project team
- Support client pursuits and business development efforts including development of RFP responses and client proposals
- Collaborate with cross functional team members to develop and propose innovative solutions to clients
- Work with KPMG leaders to develop thought leadership, white papers and other intellectual assets aligned with KPMG and market direction
- Take a "continu ou s learning" approach to your role, and take opportunities to advance your skills, knowledge and network in Capital Markets
What you bring to the role- A university degree in a related discipline (Business, Management, Operations or MBA or equivalent from an accredited university)
- A professional designation ( CFA , PMP, Six Sigma, Scrum Master ) is considered an asset
- At least 3-4 years of relevant industry experience within Financial services management consulting in any one or more of these focus domains - Wholesale Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth & Asset management
- M anagement consulting experience considered an ass et
- Experience in transformation topics impacting Financial Services such as ( but not limited to ): Strategic Front-to-back transformation , Operations process re design , Capital markets technology architecture, Data & ana lytics strategies , Business driven Digital transformation s in compliance& regulatory areas , Buy-side Asset Management & Pension funds - front office , operations , risk and custodian services .
- Awareness of business and technology related market trends and outlook for financial services industry
- Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills
- Demonstrated experience in working with large data sets, able to draw insights from data, and have a data driven mindset
- Demonstrated project management skills
