As a member of the Telus Cloud Infrastructure Team, you will utilize DevOps principles to analyze current and new solutions, as well as discover, evaluate, and provide next level support for middleware and cloud platforms. Your contributions will directly impact our ongoing pursuit to evolve TELUS technology platforms, in order to support the ever changing demand of the Telecommunications industry and strengthen TELUS' industry leading position.

Qualifications:


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •Commended for being resourceful and a quick learner
    •Known for effective time management and ability to work independently and within a team
    •Research, analytical, and problem solving skills
    •Recognized for your initiative and owning complex issues through to resolution
    •Strong sense of business ownership and customer focus
    •Advanced oral and written communication skills in English
    •Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
    •Willing to occasionally work flexible hours
    •Experience with complex IT infrastructure architecture planning, design, and implementation
    •Ability to work with multiple teams on projects with varying degrees of flexibility/rigidity at different points in the development cycle
    •Experience installing, configuring, constructing, and building highly available Kubernetes clusters for on-premise and public cloud
    •Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
    •Understanding of containerized platforms like Google Cloud Platform GCP/GKE, Amazon Web Services, Redhat Openshift, Cisco Container Platform
    •Knowledge of Jenkins and automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet
    •Knowledge in development and support of Spring Boot, Node JS and Python
