A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You'll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

Our Information Technology Project Management team collaborates with PwC practice leaders to develop and deliver technology solutions. We provide project management oversight and collaborate with various project resources and vendors to ensure the appropriate methodology is followed, deliverable quality is high, and satisfaction is achieved. Simply put, you'll solve business problems using technology, work with multiple teams concurrently, and be able to take pride in end to end ownership of a project.

As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
  • Accountable to define, plan, orchestrate and deliver on strategic initiatives
  • Lead project stakeholders such as sponsors, vendors, outsourcers/offshore resources (where applicable) and project team members to accomplish project objectives
  • Manage scope to ensure that the solution implemented fully meets the requirements, costs, time, quality and quantifiable business benefit expectations of the sponsor
  • Develops the project charter, integrated project plan, staffing resource plan, contingency plan and other project management artifacts. Tracks project expenses and validates financial forecasts 
  • Reports on the project and develops project status communications to management and firm leadership

  • Significant demonstrated experience establishing and delivering complex information technology/business projects in a service based industry
  • Solid experience in establishing and leading enterprise wide and business transformational projects and programs
  • Ability and confidence to communicate at all levels of the organization with clarity and precision
  • Experience in organizational change management practices and processes that address an organization's change readiness
  • Proven experience using agile/lean best practices and negotiation and influencing skills experience
  • Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; comfortable to work with limited information and high level of ambiguity
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels of the organization, specifically with senior/C level staff
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills. Can translate complex problems into components and actionable objectives
  • Risk Management: Assesses the potential impact of a solution, including process, organizational and technology changes
  • Team Leadership: Is able to lead and motivate a multi-faceted team which includes onshore and offshore resources as well as vendors
  • Learning Agility: Demonstrates a positive and proactive attitude towards change
  • Knowledge of, or familiar with Google tools
