Join our team

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Business Analyst to join our B2B Systems Transformation - Program Management Office (PMO) to enable next generation value chain systems in new and transformative ways. The major duties of this job will involve structured thinking, will require attention to detail, and need to be done correctly. At the same time tasks will vary rather than be repetitive, and will require a faster-than-average pace in order to complete work requirements. The role requires more of a people orientation rather than technical orientation and it has a hands-on focus, where productivity is gained through individual accomplishments. Within a structured and defined framework of responsibility the role will offer opportunities for initiative and creativity.

You will help champion and build positive relationships with our partners to effectively prioritize and execute business initiatives, while working with stakeholders to define opportunities that optimize our processes and deliver favorable customer experiences.

You will also evaluate information captured from various sources, reconcile conflicts of information, break down high-level information into details, and clarify details for the team to understand how to define an efficient solution for TELUS customers. In addition, you will support the delivery team by facilitating the team's delivery process, helping to balance work in progress limits and deliver business outcomes.

    •Participating in early scope development and management; working with capability owners and business partners to identify user stories, clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria •Leveraging your understanding of the business to lead the L3 workflow documentation efforts and signoff, and coordinate L4 workflow discussions; provide guidance to QA team on test scenarios •Creating the User Acceptance Test (UAT) plan and lead its execution and signoff; support UAT and user training documentation with business/change leaders •Creating the Operational Readiness Test (ORT) plan and leading its execution and signoff; support capability owners and delivery teams with release activities and testing

      •Strong knowledge of operational applications, business products, and services •Ability to ensure that business impacts are accurately captured and agreed upon by operations within TELUS Business Solutions •Planning and readiness for service offer including: includes requirements definition, risk assessment/mitigation, stakeholder update presentations, user interfaces/processes, documentation, testing, communication on basic and/or individual components of projects, post launch stability, and ongoing evolution/transformation

      •Processes and/or operational business readiness •Drive new business implementation and execution, lead process improvement initiatives, reduce unnecessary customer contacts, and enable agents to increase productivity and quality of customer interactions
    •Familiarity with Sales to Cash and Day 2 Support workflow development experience

    •Bilingual (English/French) •University degree and/or equivalent combination of experience and education •Business Analysis certification/courses or 5+ years of experience for senior level positions; 2-5 years of experience for intermediate level positions •Agile, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma certification •Experience in an Agile environment •Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Kanban, and Scrum
