Job Description & Summary

A career in Sales and Marketing, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long term revenue growth for the Firm. You'll focus on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell the PwC's brand and services.

Our Brand Management team leads external brand strategy development and implementation across multiple business units, media, social and digital channels. As part of the team, you'll be involved with driving marketing programmes, branding events, corporate leadership seminars, and business marketing forums.

What you'll create and do

As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
  • L ead and participate in marketing strategy and plan development for our brand campaigns defining the PwC Canada narrative
  • Work closely with our marketing teams to ensure integration and consistency of our messaging across portfolios
  • Harness digital to drive impact and produce integrated marketing campaigns that amplify and gain traction
  • As a brand leader, the Senior Brand Manager is responsible for the stewardship of the brand working closely with the global brand team to ensure the integrity of the brand in Canada
  • As a brand ambassador, they will be a champion for the brand and act as an educator and consultant to both the marketing teams and the practice
  • Overseeing the Content strategy, Alumni and Employer Brand teams
  • Leadership and stakeholder management will be critical to the success of this role
  • Develops in-depth knowledge of assigned portfolio, including external business trends and issues affecting target audience
  • Understands and applies stakeholder business plans and priorities to marketing plans
  • Manages key stakeholder relationships
  • Oversees the stewardship of the brand including: Naming of products and services, compliance training and testing 
  • Disciplined budget planning 
  • Defines connected client  journeys
  • Documents, updates and tracks marketing plan
  • Defines the target audience, segmentation, accounts, clients
  • Collaboratively develops campaign strategy and tactics 
  • Agrees on metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Reviews past campaign performance & recommend improvements
  • Co-develops assets  with editorial and design
  • Manages marketing budgets and makes educated decisions on reasonable spends and expectations with vendors
  • Conducts QC of all campaign assets
  • Monitors media report(s) from the agency and discusses opportunities for optimization
  • Monitors Salesforce and report on pursuit and tagged activities
  • Engages further with account and Sales support teams with targeted accounts
  • Leads, coaches and develops early experienced Marketing Specialists

  • Working experience with managing a marketing budget and developing strategic marketing plans 
  • Proven background in quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong project management and coaching skills 
  • Proven experience leading teams
  • Strong familiarity working in a cross-functional, matrix team setting, demonstrating strong leadership skills, marketing and business acumen
  • Prior exposure in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders, tracking and delivering measurable outcomes, and driving innovation to elevate the team is required
  • Proven experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders at various levels to achieve outcomes
  • Proven effectiveness working with virtual teams across different geographic areas
  • Strong attention to detail, self-starter, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experienced in a cross-functional, matrix team setting and demonstrated strong leadership skills, marketing and business acumen
  • Function in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and stakeholders, track and deliver measurable outcomes, and drive innovation to elevate the team
  • Demonstrated progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance
  • Excellent presentation and oral communication skills
