Job Description
A career within the Financial Services Banking Operations team will provide you with the opportunity to use data, technology and industry expertise to design strategies and transformational roadmaps that maximize business opportunities and reduce risk for our clients. We advise leading Canadian financial institutions (e.g., Banks, Insurers, Credit Unions) on a wide variety of strategic and operational issues as well as design and implement transformational journeys that ensure our clients stay competitive during a dynamic and challenging time of change.
Meaningful work you'll be part of
As a Senior Associate you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Support and lead d elivery of client projects from project scoping to conclusion, while exceeding client expectations
• Manage multiple timelines and projects within budget while coaching other team members and improving team performance
• Understand our client's business and strategies through data collection, interviews, formulating and testing hypotheses
• Convert complex data into meaningful insights with qualitative and/or quantitative evidence
• Communicate complex information effectively in written and verbal formats
• E mbrace change and opportunities to be exposed to different situations, environments and perspectives
• U pskilling for a digital world and technology trends and stay informed of emerging technologies
• phold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• Working experience in management consulting demonstrating knowledge of operations in financial Services, which may include specific knowledge of middle/back-office functions in the retail bank, commercial bank, investment bank, or wealth business while driving business growth for the firm
• D emonstrated expertise in operational excellence, process optimization, RPA and AI/Gen AI as it relates to enhancing the efficiency of operations within the bank
• Ability to become a trusted advisor to clients by building and maintaining relationships
• Proven track record leading complex transformational and/or modernization and technology programs
• Experience leading strategic plans, target operating models, technology enablement roadmaps, including knowledge of problem solving and process improvement methodologies
• Understanding the evolution and new trends in technologies ( e.g., GenAI , Machine Learning) and how these technologies can help to solve complex problems
• Working knowledge of SDLC metho dolog y , data transformation and visualization tools ( e.g., Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik) and intelligent automation technologies ( e.g., RPA, RDA, process mining)
• Experience leading white papers and thought leadership materials through research and data collection
• Lead practice development activities ( e.g. new service offerings, training packages, recruiting initiatives, marketing)
• Lead business development activities, including writing proposals and presenting them to clients, and responding to RFPs
