What is the opportunity?

As a Sr. Application Analyst within Wealth Management Technology & Solutions, you will be responsible for partnering with IT, Operations and business stakeholders to assess, analyze and, recommend business and technical solutions. You will have to document business and system needs for small enhancement initiatives as medium to large size projects. As part of the Business Process Management Capability, you will contribute to Workflow and Document Management implementations and add value by providing knowledge of the system and assist in configuration of the solution functionality (where needed, primarily using Pega App Studio) to meet sponsor needs. On Agile initiatives you are also expected to support the Product Owner, and act as proxy as needed. If this sounds like you, we want to meet you!

What will you do?

  • Define the requirements approach -- activities, deliverables, and effort estimates.
  • Develop functional specifications (for reports, forms, interfaces, enhancements and data conversions).
  • Elicit, analyze, and document system requirements including storytelling, personas, user journeys, and process flows -- create design artifacts, including: user scenarios, use cases, context diagrams, competitor analyses and prototypes.
  • Work collaboratively with Solution Architects, Functional Leads and Technical Leads to design the solution for a specific functional area. Work with business stakeholder(s) on refining and prioritizing scope for each delivery cycle.
  • Provide consulting services, critical thinking, functional details on the projects
  • Deliver results in Agile and Iterative Waterfall project frameworks. On agile initiatives, act as the Product Owner Proxy during scrum sessions
  • Communicate the impact of changes through cost-benefit analysis taking into consideration time, effort, and business priorities
  • Using Pega App Studio/ Pega V8 low code factory create, refine and enhance the case life cycle design, develop/enhance some basic user interface features and implement workflow and business rules
  • Assist in test plan creation and participate in the testing process as needed, including Post Implementation Verification (PIV). Provide support to identify root cause of incidents.


  • What do you need to succeed?

    Must-have:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial and technical data and transform it into valuable business information and requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in a Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst role, preferably in the Financial Services industry
  • Experience in writing user stories, system requirements and/or test plans
  • Have experience with Pega App Studio to create, refine and enhance the case life cycle design
  • Strong hands on experience in User Interface, Work Flow and Business Rules Implementation
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with individuals across teams and geographies to meet deadlines
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with ability to clearly present complex technical information to a business audience
  • Pega Business Architect certification is must and having experience in Pega V8 Low Code Factory will be an advantage


  • Nice-to-have:

  • Experience delivering projects in large corporate environments -- specifically in Wealth Management, including front-, middle-, and back-office functions
  • Experience in financial services business or technology, Wealth Management, Global Asset Management, or Brokerage
  • Master's degree, Business Analysis and Agile certifications
