Job Description:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery lifecycle. Owning business analysis and quality assurance activities from requirements elicitation through testing, implementation and post-implementation support.
- Identify, analyze, document, validate and manage functional and non-functional requirements by collaborating with business, compliance, technology, and external partners/vendors to achieve consensus and alignment
- Analyze and document current state and future state business processes, assess system impacts and ensure requirements and acceptance criteria clearly reflect changes needed to meet business, customer and regulatory needs.
- Ensure requirement traceability across the delivery life cycle from business requirements through design, testing and implementation including change and impact management
- Act as the primary contact between business and technology, ensuring clarity of requirements, dependencies, constraint, risk and delivery expectation.
- Provide subject matter experts and thought leadership, leverage domain, product and system knowledge to drive business value, innovation, scalability and continuous improvement.
- Define, review, and support acceptance criteria, test strategy, test plan and test cases, ensuring requirements are testable, measurable and aligned with regulatory, and control framework.
- Lead and oversee all phases of testing (system, integration, UAT, performance development verification), ensure adherence to testing standards, audit requirements and gating criteria.
- Coordinate and manage delivery and testing resource, environments, tools and vendors to meet project milestones, timelines and quality expectations.
- Manage test execution, defects triage, resolution, and reporting, including prioritization of testing activities based on risk, complexity and business impact.
- Manage creation, review and sign-off of testing documentation (e.g. test strategies, plans, test cases, dashboards, defect logs, test phase closure reports) for assigned area / projects and ensure all test artifacts adhere to testing standards and audit requirements
- Identify, document, and actively manage delivery, testing, operational risk, escalation issues proactively and recommending mitigation strategies to ensure timely and unimpeded progress.
- Support change management, operational readiness, implementation, and post implementation activities, ensuring solutions are ready for business adoption.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with regulatory obligations, internal controls, risk appetite, testing standard, and best practices.
- Communicate delivery status, dependencies, and outcome clearly and consistently to stakeholder and senior leadership.
- Mentor and coach team members contribute to knowledge sharing, promote best practices, and support collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, testing effectiveness, automation and overall solution quality.

Skill Sets:
- Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in business analysis, quality assurance, and end-to-end delivery lifecycle management.
- Skilled in translating complex business needs into clear, actionable, and testable requirements, ensuring alignment across business, technology, compliance, and external partners.
- Proven ability to lead full solution delivery, from requirements definition through testing, implementation, and post-implementation support, while maintaining a focus on risk, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness.
- Advanced proficiency in test strategy, test planning, multi-phase testing, defect management, and quality governance to ensure solutions meet audit and performance standards.
- Experienced in coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, delivery environments, tools, and project milestones to achieve high-quality, timely outcomes.
- Strong communicator, adept at articulating requirements, risks, dependencies, timelines, and delivery status to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Continuously identifies and drives opportunities for process optimization, testing efficiency, automation, and overall solution quality improvements.
- Substantial knowledge of SWIFT messages, ISO20022, MX and MT formats
- Deep understanding of payment systems and methods such as Canada Lynx, US CHIPS, and Fedwire, etc.
- Proficient in MS Office, Agile methodology with Product Owner mindset, Shift Left testing methodologies and best practices utilizing collaborative tools like Jira, JTMF, and Confluence
Experience and/ or education
- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
- 5-7+ years related business analysis and QA experience
- Business Analysis Accreditation is an asset
- Preference given to candidates who have experience working in Agile
