Site Description: VFS Global embraces technological innovation, including Generative AI to support governments and diplomatic missions worldwide. Position: Full-Time Security Guard

Site: VFS Global - 415 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON M5S 3B4 Unit 801

Averaging Agreement : Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours OR ESA

Hours: Monday to Friday (0845 - 1645)

Payrate: $18.60/hour

Job Description:
• Enforce the regulations of VFS Global
• Patrol property consistently on a proactive & reactive basis
• Respond to incidents and emergencies
• Complete reports as required by the site and Paladin
• Wayfind and assist students, visitors, and staff whenever possible
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks & duties
• Other tasks as assigned

Prerequisites:
• Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
• Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
• English (oral and written) fluency is a must
• French (oral and written) fluency is considered an asset
• Previous experience in security, by-law, and ; parking enforcement - considered an asset
• Must be able to commute for pre-deployment training (3 of 5 training days)

Certification Requirements (All)

Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Ontario Security License
Minimum of 1 year security experience
COVID Double Vaccinated
