Position: | Full-Time Security Guard
Site: | Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital - 403 Picton Main
Hours: | Rotational - Days Only - 0800-2000
Payrate: | $18.75/hour

Start Date: ASAP


Full-Time - Rotational - 0800-2000 (Please see example below:)

•Week 1 - 0800-2000 - 4 Days (Mon-Tues, Fri-Sat)
•Week 2 - 0800-2000 - 3 Days (Sun, Wed-Thurs)
•Note: The schedule remains the same month-to-month

Working as a Security Guard in a Healthcare environment, you will be responsible for completing investigations, and incident reports. You will be expected to perform consistent patrols, interact with the public to provide good customer service, keep the clients and visitors safe, and build rapport with patients, staff, and visitors.

Job Description


•Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment with maintaining the utmost professionalism

•Remain calm and effectively perform in emergency situations
•Able to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
Qualifications


•Compassion, empathy, and a desire to work in a health care environment
•Valid Ontario Security Guard License
•Valid First Aid & CPR Level C Certificate
•Copy of Immunization Record
•Must have your own vehicle
•Must be able to commit to 5 days of pre-deployment training
•Must be able to commit to 5 site training shifts at all QHC Hospitals
•Must be or be able to be clean shaven to pass N95 Mask Fit Test
•Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
•Must be able to work alone
