Position: Security Guard- Parking attendant

Site: Windsor Regional Hospital Met Campus

Status: Part time

Hours: Saturday - Sunday 0800-2000

Pay Rate: $ 22.18

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Excellent Customer Service Skills

-Ability to work well with the public

-Able to take payments and make change for parking for the patients/visitors

-Keep parking booth clean

-Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

-Able to work independently

-Able to push wheelchairs

-Able to monitor/direct traffic in parking lot

-Proficient in English

-Good verbal and written communication skills.

-First Aid/CPR trained

-Covid double vaccinated (at least 2 doses)

-Perform other duties as requested by security coordinator and /or client

Essential Job Functions:

-Be courteous and cooperative with a high quality of customer service.

-Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.

-Must be able to communicate clearly with clinical staff, and the general public while conveying professionalism and authority at all times.

-Able to maintain a professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances and people under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.

-Write clear, concise, and legible reports.

-Communicates any concerns/issues with Site Coordinator.

Requirements:

-Diploma in Police Foundations/Protection, Security & Investigations , Border Services, or Criminology is required

-CPR and First Aid certificates -Standard First Aid & CPR Level C

-Valid Ontario Security Guard License
