Position: Industrial Security Guard - Projects and Shutdowns

City: Various (Sarnia, Corunna, Courtright)

Status: Temporary Full-Time & Part-Time

Hours: Various Shifts (10-12 hours)

Pay Rate: $16.50/hour

Completion Bonus of $200 upon completion of 3 months of employment

Job Description: While providing security guard services during industrial site shutdowns and ongoing projects, you will provide access/egress to the site, proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to emergencies in a quick and efficient manner.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard licence
• Emergency or Standard First Aid & CPR
• Valid G Class Ontario Drivers Licence & Clean Drivers Abstract
• Minimum 1 year security related experience preferred
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English
• Superior customer service skills
• Proven computer skills
• Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy
• Reliable transportation to the job site
• Ability to walk/stand/climb stairs for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
