Under the direction of the Supervisor, Scheduling, this position is responsible for handling day-to-day scheduling for new and existing team members. The successful incumbent will utilize computer software applications to schedule team members to meet operational needs, while ensuring that schedules are created and posted in accordance with the Collective Agreements. Other responsibilities include assisting in the annual vacation scheduling preference processes for all team members; creating reports as requested for internal and external departments; responding to queries regarding vacation, lieu, and other leaves.

The ideal candidate is an energetic professional with proven knowledge, skills and abilities, executing the following in support of the company's vision, mission and values:
    •Creating of schedule rotations in accordance with company guidelines and Collective Agreements while ensuring operational requirements are met; •Ensuring staffing levels are met through company guidelines and Collective Agreements; •Monitoring time off requests and approvals for hourly team members; •Daily scheduling reports as required; •Communicating any inconsistencies within the schedules; •Reasonable additional duties and responsibilities as assigned/directed;

Successful applicants will demonstrate the following qualifications:
    •A secondary school diploma; •Education and work experience in the office administration field preferred; •Excellent English communication skills (written and oral); •Excellent guest service and organizational skills; •Experience in a related field considered an asset; •Intermediate computer skills with the ability to learn proprietary software; •French Language is an asset.
