The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - Enablement team is a shared service team that supports the core of the Sales, Marketing & Care Automation strategies within TELUS business teams.

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Salesforce Developer who will be able to help support our Salesforce.com (SFDC) - Business to Business (B2B) platform.

In this role, you will work with scrum teams to help design/implement solutions on the SFDC platform. You will also play a key role in resolving complex technical defects on the platform.

You are a mentor and guiding voice for developers and you are always looking for ways to solve problems and continuously drive improved development processes and efficiencies. Your experienced in Apex, VF, Angular JS and balance between knowing when to configure .vs. when to code is essential. Quality is a primary concern and testing is necessary throughout the development lifecycle.
    •Work with other technical team members, business analysts, and leaders to implement new business capabilities, infrastructure, and troubleshoot issues •Coordinate technical dependencies with other teams •Work with product owners to support translating business deliverables into technical outcomes •Design scalable systems with performance and security in mind •Conduct periodic software continuous improvement cycles


Qualifications:


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •Strong knowledge of object-oriented principles and APEX; familiarity with other object-oriented languages: Java, PHP, ASP.NET, Angular JS etc. and design patterns is considered asset; experience in working with Apex Scheduling, Batch processes, Apex Class controllers & Triggers with Governor Limits •We'll say it again: Experience with Salesforce Administration (knowing when to code vs when to configure is critical) •Experience with SFDC deployment tools: Copado, Gearset, etc., is an asset •Experience developing/designing automation, utilities, and helper frameworks •Experience developing web-service and working in an Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment •Experience with Agile Development, Scrum, or XP methodologies •Integration experience on SFDC using Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) & Representational State Transfer (REST) application program interfaces (APIs) •Experience using versioning control, we use BitBucket, and continuous integrations tools such Jenkins, ANT, git, or subversion •Experience with authentication and authorization protocols, familiarity with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) & Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) •Experience with Oracle 10g/11g, My Structured Query Language (MySQL), and other database products is an asset •Experience with Microsoft (MS) Exchange/SFDC integration is an asset •Experience with Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ); Vlocity is an asset •Experience using Infomatica is an asset

Professional Certification & Experience:
    •Salesforce Certified App Builder Designation or equivalent; certified SFDC system administrator (advanced preferred) •Post-secondary education in computer science or a related technical field •Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a SFDC Developer with system administration experience
