What is the opportunity?

As a QE automation lead, you will be accountable for driving QA automation for Capital Market Regulatory project. This application is built on Bigdata Hadoop architecture and process billions of data on daily basis. You will be required to create and maintain Bigdata automation test framework which should be efficient and maximize test coverage. You will also work closely with senior leaders, vendor and 3rd party service providers to enhance efficiency of quality activities by aligning QE processes and methods, including functional and non-functional testing.

What will you do?

- Create and maintain Bigdata automation test strategy and test plan for agile delivery.

- Drive, implement and execute Bigdata Test Automation framework to meet regulatory requirements

- Lead and manage QA automation team.

- Review automation scripts for correctness and maintainability before check in

- Communicate functional and regression test status with stakeholders

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

- 4+ years strong hands on experience in defining Bigdata test automation strategies and clear guidelines

- 3+ years strong hands on experience on Spark, Pyspark, Python, SQL, HIVE, Dataframes and UNIX

- Hands on experience in handling and creating high volume test data to provide right coverage for test cases

- Experience with CI/CD pipeline operations (Github, Nexus, RLM, Jenkins) and test integration with tools like JIRA

- Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent university degree

Nice-to-have

- Hands on experience with Object Oriented Programing, Mongo DB

- Hands on Robot framework and Selenium

- Exposer to Cloud computing platform and BI Tools - Tableau
