The Opportunity

Step into a high-impact leadership role shaping how WSP partners with Canada's Federal Government and Defence sector. As the Pursuit and Strategy Lead, you will drive winning strategies for complex pursuits, strengthen long-term client relationships, and help position WSP at the forefront of nationally significant programs and initiatives.

Your Impact
  • Lead the development and execution of pursuit strategies for major Federal Government and Defence opportunities.
  • Shape win themes, value propositions, and client messaging aligned with strategic growth objectives.
  • Partner with technical, commercial, and executive leaders to deliver compelling, compliant submissions.
  • Guide capture planning activities, including stakeholder mapping, competitive analysis, and risk mitigation.
  • Influence go-to-market strategies that strengthen WSP's presence in the federal and defence sectors.
  • Mentor pursuit teams and elevate best practices across capture and proposal development.
  • Support long-term account planning to drive sustained growth and trusted client relationships.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Proven experience leading complex pursuits or capture strategies within Federal Government and/or Defence environments.
  • Strong understanding of public-sector procurement, RFP processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical solutions into clear, persuasive value propositions.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience coordinating large, matrixed teams under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Background in engineering, advisory, or professional services environments is an asset.

Compensation

Compensation:
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 - $138,000
MB & ON: $95,000 - $130,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $94,100 - $124,900
