The Opportunity

Step into a high-impact leadership role shaping how WSP partners with Canada's Federal Government and Defence sector. As the Pursuit and Strategy Lead, you will drive winning strategies for complex pursuits, strengthen long-term client relationships, and help position WSP at the forefront of nationally significant programs and initiatives.

Your Impact

Lead the development and execution of pursuit strategies for major Federal Government and Defence opportunities.
Shape win themes, value propositions, and client messaging aligned with strategic growth objectives.
Partner with technical, commercial, and executive leaders to deliver compelling, compliant submissions.
Guide capture planning activities, including stakeholder mapping, competitive analysis, and risk mitigation.
Influence go-to-market strategies that strengthen WSP's presence in the federal and defence sectors.
Mentor pursuit teams and elevate best practices across capture and proposal development.
Support long-term account planning to drive sustained growth and trusted client relationships.

The Skills That Set You Apart

Proven experience leading complex pursuits or capture strategies within Federal Government and/or Defence environments.
Strong understanding of public-sector procurement, RFP processes, and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to translate technical solutions into clear, persuasive value propositions.
Strategic mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience coordinating large, matrixed teams under tight deadlines.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Background in engineering, advisory, or professional services environments is an asset.

Compensation

Compensation:
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 - $138,000
MB & ON: $95,000 - $130,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $94,100 - $124,900
