From small installations to multi-phase integrated megaprojects, we support a number of industries that stretch from oil and gas, mining, heavy industrial plants, through to renewable power and energy projects in solar, wind, hydropower, and more. To meet our growth challenges, WSP is currently seeking an Proposal Manager to join our team located in any of our Ontario offices or Atlantic offices.
Join our vibrant and rapidly expanding team across Canada, where you'll provide proposal support to complex projects within a dynamic and changing industry. As a Proposal Manager, you will work on managing proposal deliverables in collaboration with various disciplines to successfully win projects across various market sectors with a focus on Quebec.

What you can expect to do here:
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the proposal development from capture planning to post-submission, including:
- Manage all aspects of the proposal development, ensuring that all proposal activities are strategically aligned with business goals and executed within established timelines and quality standards.
- Support the capture planning process.
- Conduct analysis of tender documents and compile requirements to ensure compliance of the proposal. Help identify risks and issues related to the preparation of the proposal.
- Ensure that the required information is obtained in response to the various administrative / regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that the contributions of each discipline or business unit involved in the service proposal are clearly identified and communicated and track the progress of this content. Call on other proposal team members as needed.
- Manage and process information from different disciplines so that the proposal meets our internal presentation standards, facilitating communication across departments.
- Contribute directly to the writing, editing, and formatting of proposal content, including team CVs and bios, ensuring consistency in tone, formatting and branding.
- Maintain up-to-date and properly organized proposal documentation, ensuring accurate version control and systematic archiving. Serve as the primary liaison for document exchange between the organization and the client.
- Organization and preparation of material for meetings as the kick-off meeting, proposals reviews (pink, red, gold etc.) and presentations for the client during/after submission.
- Schedule and organize internal approvals and collection of signatures, preparing the associated documents.
- Support pre-proposal planning activities.
- Follow up on assigned proposals until outcome is known, initiate post-mortem and project record creation process as appropriate, preparing presentations and materials for the proposal or negotiation phase.
- Manage multiple proposals concurrently, dependent on size and complexity, including Pre-qualifications, RFIs etc.
- Any other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring to WSP:
- Eight (8)+ years of experience in proposal development or similar environment and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.
- Must have proposal previous experience in similar engineering consulting or professional services firms.
- Strong team player, self-motivated, flexible, with initiative to go beyond the task at hand, able to manage changing priorities in a demanding deadline-driven multi-task environment.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards and attention to detail.
- Strong writing skills - including attention to detail and the ability to proofread and edit documents, and an ability to understand technical terminology.
- Asset: ability to organize, present and validate financial bids.
- Asset: good understanding of legal terminology.
- Asset: ability to read, write and speak French.
- Strong computer skills: proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible work environment and a work schedule that takes into account time differences.
