CHYM 96.7, CONTRY 106.7 and 570 News is seeking a full time Promotions Coordinator to assist the Promotions Manager in the day to day duties of the promotions, sales and programming departments.  Reporting to the Promotions Manager this individual will be highly organized and have tremendous people and communications skills.  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and within a team.  Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Familiarity with Photoshop, WordPress and a strong understanding of social media platforms an asset.  Must be available out-side designated work hours as part of the role for special on-site promotional events, sales remotes etc...
What you will do: 
  • Coordinating promotions as directed by the Promotions Manger
  • Preparing promotional packages for the sales team (this could include sharing with other markets as needed)
  • Updating stations social media and websites
  • Attend internal meetings and client meetings as needed
  • Play a vital role in community partnerships as directed by the Promotions Manager
  • Administrative duties as needed, which could include reception duties  
  • Coordinating and arranging prizing and client reports for all promotional contesting campaigns.
  • Scheduling part time promotional staff for client or station events as needed
  • Assisting in preparing promotional kits for each part time promotional staff prior to each station, client or community event
  • Must be available to work outside of work hours to attend special promotional events when needed
  • Maximize station presence and visibility at all events
  • Attend all major station promotions and designated client promotions as required
  • Provide regular event feedback, including post-event wrap up reports
What you will bring...

  • Knowledge of PhotoShop, Social Media and WordPress an asset
