CHALK RIVER, Ontario

The Opportunity:

WSP is seeking a Project Scheduler who will assist in leading a complex multi-disciplinary civil and construction remediation project in Chalk River Ontario. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong scheduling skills and will be an effective communicator.

A day in the life:

• Reports to the Project Controls Lead/Manager and Project Director.
• Collaboration with the project team, construction team, management, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Manage the collection, organization of project schedule.
• Manage project baseline and progress schedules.
• Review and understand all project and contract material.
• Drafting and implementation of Project Controls Plan.
• Liaise with Client Project Control personnel. • Liaise with subcontractor personnel.

What you'll bring to WSP:

• More than five (5) years' of experience in project controls supporting the construction industry.
• University Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Business Administration, or a combination of education and industry experience.
• Experience using Primavera P6.
• Demonstrated ability supporting construction managers, site superintendents, safety managers, engineering managers and direct field staff.
• Eligible for Reliability security clearance (individual must have 3 full years of verifiable history in Canada, USA, UK, New Zealand and/or Australia).
