Job Description
Project Coordinator We're looking for a skilled Project Coordinator to help with project scheduling, supporting program managers on a large-scale distribution center new build. You’ll help manage an integrated schedule involving eight large vendors and cross-functional teams, all while raising the bar in project coordination. Proficiency in MS Project is required, and supply chain knowledge is a strong asset.
This is a 1-year contract with possibility for extension if business needs align.

The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting program managers and teams in the successful planning and execution of projects. This position involves planning, organizing, and overseeing various aspects of projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Who – The Candidate:
$43-49/hr commensurate with experience + 4% vacation pay.
Where:
Mississauga, Milton, Brampton ON, 4 days’ onsite, one remote working day.

- Coordinate project activities, resources, and information.
- Communicate with team members and stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or risks.
- Organize project meetings, document minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
- Assist in resource allocation and scheduling.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
Who – The Candidate:
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of budgeting and financial management.
- Familiarity with risk management practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or a related role.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus, but not required.
- Due to commuting between the different locations, a car is required.
