Project Control Coordinator
    • Location: Chalk River, Ontario, Canada.
    • Long-Term Contract Opportunity. Initial contract of 2 years, with extensions.
Education
? University degree or college diploma in a relevant field from an accredited school.
? PMI accreditation is an asset

Experience
? Minimum of 2 - 5 years of progressively more responsible work experience in Project
Management; or
? In the absence of a diploma / degree, 4 - 6 years of progressively more responsible work
experience in Project Management.

Work Experience
? Coordinate the scope definition and assist in the preparation of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS);
? Work closely with Project Leader / Project Manager and project team during the preparation and maintenance of the baseline and working project schedules;
? Provide contract administration, including reviewing contract deliverables, invoices, contractor timecards, etc.;
? Analyze the schedule performance of the project and help identify variances, monitor trends, recommend and implement corrective actions and changes;
? Obtain and monitor actual cost expenditure information and measure project progress performance using Earned Value Analysis;
? Coordinate changes to scope and cost, ensure related approval and configuration management documentation is in place before baselines are adjusted;
? Coordinate the production and maintenance of the risk register for Project Leader / Project Manager review.
? Coordinate the analysis of schedule/cost performance and risk assessment for the Project Leader / Project Manager review.
? Coordinate the resource and cost loading of schedules;
? Prepare/present source information used for financial forecasting and resource demand;
? Support preparation of project bid and schedule submissions;
? Work closely with the Project Leader / Project Manager to ensure document submissions on time;
? Support the Project Leader / Project Manager to achieve project targets, and or exceed customer and company expectations;
? Track and manage incoming and outgoing project management paper work, as necessary;
? Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with core project team members;
? Support Project Controls team in the planning and control framework, including definition of the hierarchies, coding and account structures required for tracking, analysis and
performance measurement;
? Verify the legitimacy of changes, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions;
? Support Project & Program Costs team in the cost estimating and budgeting processes when required;
? Chair/participate in project review meetings and make presentations of project OFFICIAL USE ONLY / À USAGE EXCLUSIF information;
? Work with contractors & consultants on construction schedule and incorporate contractor schedule into the master P6 schedule;
? Conduct Critical Path analyses with project team and provide corrective actions or solutions for deviations.
? Receive progress updates from contractors and project team to update the P6 master schedule;
? Manage and maintain the change control process for respective project(s);
? Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
