Who we're looking for:
Rogers is seeking a candidate with the right aptitude, competencies, and skills to join its Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team. The RPA Product Owner will work with program streams across Rogers to identify manual work, facilitate RPA concept development and delivery, and to build out a pipeline of concepts delivering high ROI. Reporting to the Senior Manager of RPA, this is a Management-level role accountable for the successful delivery and KPIs for new Robotic Process Automations launched by the RPA Centre of Excellence (COE) at Rogers.

What you'll do:
  • Conduct process mapping assessments with stakeholders to analyze and identify business processes with automation potential and cost savings
  • Create detailed and structured documentation of processes to be automated, including functional and non-functional business requirements, decision logic and exception handling
  • Exercise judgment to Develop analytical solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy, stakeholder needs, and automation capabilities.
  • Collaborate with RPA Project Manager, Developers, Solution Architects and Testers throughout the automation lifecycle to ensure business and technical requirements are met
  • Proactively identify, document and communicate risks associated with RPA implementation to business stakeholders.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to ensure business readiness for go-live by coordinating with impacted teams and securing the necessary approvals including Business Contingency planning
  • Measure automation KPIs for ROI and work with stakeholders to make necessary corrections post-launch to achieve Business Case results.
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders to create an ongoing backlog of automation opportunities

What you bring:
  • Must have strong time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple balls, and comfortable working under pressure
  • Work independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations requiring problem solving or innovative solutions.
  • Ability to ask the right questions to identify gaps and avoid future issues with functionality or performance of the automation.
  • A strong customer-centric focus, with an entrepreneurial and ROI mind-set (cost savings, revenue)
  • Data-driven decision making
  • Strong facilitation and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closelywith the development team to deliver projects
  • Experience with Rogers internal systems such as Maestro, V21, SGI, Oracle Cloud ERP is an asset
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field
  • Knowledge RPA software (UiPath preferred) to create the Process Description Document (PDD)
  • Understanding of fundamentals of software development processes and procedures (SDLC), as well as supporting systems and architecture commonly used in RPA
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 software such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
  • Ability to create reports or dashboards in tools like UiPath Insight or PowerBI is an asset
