You will manage the relationship with key Android original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to drive the device portfolio to our Business channels, as well as work closely with device acquisition, sales, marketing and product development teams across the TELUS organization.

You will be successful because you're able to combine keen business acumen with an interest and comfort with new technologies. You will constantly strive to understand our clients, markets, competition, offerings, and internal capabilities.

Equipped with this understanding, along with a developed expertise on mobile operating systems and wireless devices, you will continually pursue tangible results while laying the groundwork for future market growth opportunities.

Here's how
    •Build strong working relationships with multiple OEM/device manufacturers, and leverage those relationships to drive TELUS' business objectives •Become the subject matter expert in business-focused network services and wireless handsets, alongside how our business clients purchase and use of them •Achieve business unit product targets, including managing costs •Manage the lifecycle of wireless devices and network services from acquisition through production launch, ongoing feature enhancement to end-of-life •Working closely with product realization, product development and inventory management teams, you will provide ongoing input into the overall vision for business devices •Maintain a keen understanding of our clients, competition, markets, technology, offerings, and our internal strategies and capabilities •Execute marketing & communication plans including segment-based initiatives, channel and client promotions, vertical campaigns, develop marketing collateral, sales tools, advertising, and other related deliverables •Present plans and results to leadership team


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •Proven go-to-market (GTM) abilities with a history of successful product introductions •Quantitative analysis in the areas of financial business cases (e.g. margin analysis, cost/benefit, performance) and business planning (e.g. forecasting, and budgeting) •Proven history of accomplishment in the training and introduction of complex products to sales channels •Intellectual curiosity: Ability to deal with ambiguity coupled with a drive to solve problems and get things done •Ability to effectively manage projects and stakeholders, analyze data, review performance and present findings to the executive level •Passionate storytelling capability and ability to turn business dynamics into compelling narrative •Respectful collaborator with the ability to rapidly build cross-functional relationships within TELUS and with vendor partners •Post-secondary education in Marketing or Business Administration or minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, preferably Business to Business (B2B) •Exceptional computer skills with fluent knowledge of Google Apps for Work, Microsoft (MS) PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

    •Honors Business Administration (HBA), Commerce, Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree •Wireless telecommunications and/or technology-based industry experience
