Leads and develops all key strategic initiatives required to meet overall client experience and financial objectives. This mandate is to drive and influence the development and execution of large scale initiatives across various LOB/jurisdictions and lead strategy development in partnership with the leadership team. Results are achieved through partnering with leaders and key representatives using a consultative team base approach.
  • Designs, develops, maintains and manages an effective process to monitor the implementation of end to end projects.
  • Creates product strategy documents including business cases, technical requirements etc.
  • Creates buy-in for the product vision with key stakeholders including executive team.
  • Conducts ongoing industry analysis and keep current with emerging competitive and regulatory trends.
  • Engages stakeholders to discuss potential opportunities to drive new value.
  • Acts as the prime subject matter expert for internal/external stakeholders.
  • Refines, develops, and supports a business growth strategy that details the standards for client growth target setting.
  • Ensures all products are in compliance and meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Executes work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service.
  • Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
    Qualifications:
  • Typically between 3 - 5 years of experience in Product and post-secondary degree in related field of study.
  • Automotive lending experience is an asset but not mandatory
  • Experience working on business cases and executive decks is an asset.
