As the Business Consultant - M&A, you will oversee all P&C M&A projects for the business unit. You will provide strategic insight for our leaders as well as ensure high quality and consistent delivery of HR due diligence valuation, change management, communication and post-merger integration activities. Your collaborative approach, project management expertise, and drive to apply and create best practise will deliver exceptional experiences for new team members and position them for success.
This high profile role will be supported by the Vice President - Business Partner (BP) - P&C.Here's how
•Manage the overall project plan for HR M&A projects specific to the business unit including identifying issues, risks and dependencies for multiple concurrent acquisitions or divestitures
•Partner with the M&A Enablement team to analyze people risks and opportunities during due-diligence phase including identification and valuing of key critical employee issues, retaining key talent and cultural assessment
•Develop and implement the post-closing people & culture change management, communication and integration plans for all M&A projects specific to the business unit
•Based on the strategic rationale of each acquisition, collaborate with M&A Enablement team to recommend a people integration strategy
•Collaborate with the business leaders and People &Culture - Center of Expertize (CoE) to lead the design of the post-acquisition organizational structure, titles & compensation
•Work with the BP Director to embed key cultural components in the new acquisition once on-boarded to TELUS: recognition, Leadership Fundamentals for acquisition leaders, 90 day Pulsecheck like survey post integration
•Liaise with acquisition leadership during critical phases of integration
•Work with P&C - CoE teams to identify lessons learned and process improvements for continuous evolution of the M&A playbookQualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle

•Acknowledged as being proactive, result-oriented and seeking continuously to add value, innovative and drive best practices and process improvements
•Noted for your agility and adaptability to a dynamic, continuously changing and fast-paced environment
•Valued for your 7 or more years of equivalent experience in an HR business partner role and/or HR M&A functions capacity
•Bachelor degree in Business Administration or other discipline Great-to-haves
•Bilingualism in English & French, written & spoken
