Position: Part -Time Security Guard
Site: London Hydro

Site Address: 111 Horton Street, London, ON N6B 3N9

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday from 07:30 - 15:30 hours

Payrate: $ 21.20 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Job Description:
The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through active patrols, incident response, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform proactive and reactive security patrols of both the interior and exterior areas of the property.
• Respond to incidents promptly and take appropriate action as required.
• Prepare detailed reports and investigate routine incidents to ensure accurate documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with clients, staff, and visitors.
• Utilize computer systems for report writing and incident tracking.
• Maintain situational awareness to identify and address potential safety or security concerns.
• Be physically fit and able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods of time during assigned shifts.
Prerequisites:
Valid Ontario Security Guard License
Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (WSIB-approved)
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
• Valid G or G2 Driver's Licence
• 3 year Uncertified Driver's Record
• Vulnerable Sector Check
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or related field preferred
• Certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)

• Candidates without these certifications may complete Paladin's unpaid UOF/MOAB program before onboarding
• Paladin covers costs with a 6-month commitment to the role
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Certification Requirements (All)

Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
