Sifton Properties Limited - Riverbend is a residential community development featuring executive homes and managed properties. Security staff provide mobile or static coverage, conduct patrols, and ensure a safe and secure living environment for residents. The role requires professionalism and strong community-focused communication skills.

Position: Part Time Security Guard

Site: Sifton Properties - Riverbend

Site Address: 1000 Sandy Sommerville Drive, London, ON, N6K 4N2

Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement - calculating after 88 hours bi-weekly

Hours: Sunday & Monday (22:00 - 07:00hrs)

Payrate: $19.00/hr

Job Duties:
• You will work part time shifts performing access control duties, including documenting vehicles and their occupants.
• You should display excellent customer service skills and be able to work with people in a fast paced environment.
• In this role, it is essential that you are physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Monitor the gatehouse and surrounding area.
• Utilize radio and computer applications for communicating site activities.
• Watch for and report irregularities by completing incident reports, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel, as required.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Prerequisites:
• Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
• Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
• English (oral and written) fluency is a must
• Must possess excellent computer skills.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
• Post-Secondary education in law enforcement from a recognized institution or equivalent experience is preferred
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)

• Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
• Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position.
