Job Skills / Requirements

Position: Security Guard
Site: DynaCare
City: London, Ontario
Status: Part Time
Hours: Thursday, Friday and Saturday 2300-0600hr
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Working assigned shifts, you will be responsible for patrolling the campus and monitoring surveillance cameras and completing written reports.

You will be expected to perform regular patrols and interact with client staff to provide direction and promote good customer service while providing a security presence.

Essential Job Functions:
•Implement security measures to protect property, control access to sites, patrol assigned areas to monitor activities and ensure client rules and regulations are followed
•Maintain written reports
•Perform security checks and liaise with client staff
•Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through collaboration.

Job Requirements:
•Must possess Ontario Security Guard Licence
•First Aid & CPR - Emergency Level
•Vulnerable Sector Check
•Physical Demands include walking and standing
•Watch for and report irregularities by completing incident reports, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel, as required
•Superior written and verbal communication skills
•Must possess excellent customer service skills
•Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact, and diplomacy

Certification Requirements (Any)

Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Ontario Security License
