Job Description:

Department Overview

The TDBG Organization Effectiveness Advisory & Governance Team (OE) is a Centre of Excellence which supports businesses across the enterprise on the analysis, development and implementation of organization design and organization effectiveness initiatives and corresponding governance policies. The OE team operates as an internal consulting practice and works closely with HR business partners and senior business leaders to support business strategy and sustained performance.

As a member of the OE Governance team, you will apply strong business acumen, analysis, communications and stakeholder management skills to lead and / or support initiatives related to OE Governance policy and process, business transformation and job evaluation optimization. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Organization Effectiveness Governance, you will work regularly with members of the OE team, across HR COEs, and HRBPs to proactively address and remediate regulatory and policy related issues and support the implementation of various projects.

Your primary accountabilities include:
  • Ensuring quality and consistency in the application of global TD organization effectiveness elements, such as OD methodology and standards, organization design health check measures, job evaluations, executive titling standards, etc.
  • Leading initiatives to strengthen, streamline and implement OE processes, job evaluation and job architecture governance
  • Supporting the evolution of TD's Job Architecture, identifying ways to utilize our Job Models and Job Evaluation process more effectively across the organization, in alignment to best practices, and in support of our OE deliverables
    • Building a roadmap / pipeline for Job Model development to support areas of the organization that need them the most
  • Providing advisory, guidance, design and support on OE governance issues across stakeholder/ business /COE teams to ensure an effective, integrated enterprise approach aligned to overall HR strategies and TD business priorities
    • Supporting other governance activities such as titling requirements and board book development
  • Advising on leading practices and industry trends related to organization effectiveness governance
  • Engaging, managing, and influencing cross-functional partners to deliver OE initiatives
  • Performing analysis and sharing insights for initiatives related to organization effectiveness, position management, governance and regulatory requirements
  • Leading with organizational analytics to identify systemic issues and opportunities

Job Requirements:

We are looking for a confident and experienced professional with proven skills in organization effectiveness and job evaluation. You should be an articulate communicator who can serve as a key point person for OE governance, with the following qualifications:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in organization effectiveness, or human capital strategies, HR systems, and projects
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field; postgraduate degree is an asset
  • Deep understanding of organizational functions and effectiveness
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business judgment skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Ability to present complex information persuasively
  • Proven project management skills with high attention to detail
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders, including executive levels
