Job Description
  • We are looking to hire a Senior Data Center Network Engineer to deliver solutions around Cisco's NXOS and ACI technologies. The candidate will join TD's Network Engineering team to provide world-class services focused on our Data Centers and Cloud.
  • The role provides technical leadership, holistic vision, forward-thinking, problem solving, cross-platform infrastructure designs, technical coordination, and support for the technology solution delivery, ensuring enterprise-wide standards-driven solutions. The candidate will be responsible for defining the product and design standards; define current and future Data Center networking roadmaps to support TD's business requirements.
  • Responsibilities are focused on Data Center network infrastructure, delivering responsible for the products, and working with our Data Center Service Delivery team to ensure that technology is appropriately tested and documented to ensure seamless delivery.

  • Remote Position (with requirements in physical lab 10-20% of the time)
  • Must have strong knowledge (CCIE level) of the configuration of Cisco routers and Cisco switches and a fair understanding of Palo Alto firewalls and F5 Load Balancers.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Cisco ACI/APIC SDN, routing protocols, OSPF, BGP, NAT, LACP, CDP, UDLD, VPC, DNS, DHCP, and Multicasting.
  • Must have strong experience in designing connectivity to various Data Center technologies such as virtual and physical Compute servers, NAS, and SAN networks.
  • Strong understanding of Network Segmentation.
  • Must have hands-on experience migrating servers from legacy infrastructure to Spine-Leaf/Cisco ACI.
  • Requires strong networking knowledge and skills to test, certify, support, configure and install networking solutions.
  • Requires spending time in our labs (physically and remotely) to test and certify new features and solutions.
  • Requires focus on adapting automation leveraging our Ansible platform.
  • The candidate should have previous experience working with large enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Identifies technical issues & risks and defines mitigation options and remediation approaches
  • Provides critical thinking and technical leadership to the program beginning at the idea creation stage
  • Develops and presents a solution with recommendations to executives and senior management
  • Work with 3rd party vendor solutions and lead the identified solution's technical evaluation.
  • Occasionally provide 3rd level support on network infrastructure issues
  • Knowledge of network management platforms: Cisco DCNM, Cisco Nexus Dashboard, Netbrain, and Ansible big plus.
