Enabling Technologies primarily focuses on the design and optimization of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) packages like SAP, Oracle, and others. Your Key Responsibilities

As a Manager, you'll be responsible for the following:

Project Management: The roles and responsibilities within our SAP group are to provide professional and effective functional or technical consulting services as they pertain to our SAP practice. Consistently deliver quality client services, driving high-quality work products within the expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Manage expectations of client service delivery. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business. Should be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be comfortable interfacing with a client on a daily basis. This role requires daily interaction with the client at many levels.

• Providing input and advice regarding SAP capabilities and functions to customer organizations.
• Building positive client and peer relationships by developing an understanding of customer's business and project scope.
• Developing exposure to multiple sub-areas within Ernst & Young Canada
• Assisting with the orientation of new team members.

Responsibilities specific to Master Data Governance role:
• Ability to bring Master Data principles and technical background to implementing a Customer master data solution to meet the needs of the enterprise
• Having an understanding of the available solutions around MDM to participate in the tooling selection process
• Coordinate with business process stakeholders to ensure that the proper business context and impact are considered in discussions
• Ensure all data governance policies are correctly documented, followed and reported and that issues are promptly addressed.
• Collaborate with Business Unit aligned personnel, such as Data Domain Leads and Data Stewards to prepare the deliverables for review and approval by the working groups
• Fully understand Master Data, specifically where it is sourced and authored from Business and IT stand-point
• Identify both producers and consumers of Master Data and how the data will be used for reporting and analytics

Skills and attributes for success

• Exceptional leadership skills to review processes and procedures to create efficiencies, eliminate duplication and provide organization support to achieve business objectives
• Comprehensive knowledge of data management and principles sufficient to analyze and interpret complex concepts
• Capacity to work in a non-structured environment and drive building structure related to data governance processes
• Strong relationship management with an ability to establish productive relationships between various leaders, departments and partners across the organization
• Well-developed communication skills including precise articulation of ideas and opinions in order to prepare detailed business cases and proposals
• Strategic thinking and solutions oriented and ability to develop and create innovative solutions to critical business or organizational data issues
• Ability to lead a team

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor' s Degree with atleast 7 - 10 years of experience with Data Governance Program Management
• Hand on functional configuration experience of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
• SAP and Program management experience
