What will your typical day look like?

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager of SAP Analytics & Data Platforms to lead some of our global reporting and analytics initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape innovative SAP analytics initiatives while working with the latest technology.
You will oversee the design and delivery of functional and performance enhancements to our foundational data layer that supports our global reporting in addition to developing innovative reporting solutions while managing cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Project Management:
• Manage end-to-end SAP reporting and analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Develop project plans and coordinate resources effectively.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
• Solution Design and Development:
• Oversee the analysis of business requirements and guide the development and enhancement of our foundational data layer and integration to our existing reporting tools and dashboards.
• Support deployment of SAP reporting solutions such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere, and SAP BusinessObjects, using common best practices and meeting a high level of quality standards.
• Drive the creation and deployment of new front-end tools that improve the quality and performance of our dashboards, reports, and KPIs that support strategic and tactical decision-making.
• Sole Contributor Capabilities and Collaboration:
• Step into a hands-on role to design and deliver SAP reporting solutions independently while collaborating with the technical teams that will do the development work.
• Take ownership of scoping, design, and documentation of requirements to ensure solutions meet business requirements and project deadlines.
• Act as the subject matter expert for SAP reporting tools and analytics, providing direct technical support and troubleshooting.
• Data Management and Optimization:
• Ensure proper development of data models across various SAP products including Native HANA sidecar, SAP Business Objects, and the new SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC including Datasphere and Databricks integration with SAP BDC/Datasphere).
• Work with technical team to drive the optimization of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for efficient reporting.
• Technical Expertise and Support:
• Provide high-level technical support for SAP reporting tools and resolve complex issues related to data accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with technical teams during system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
• Training and Documentation:
• Develop comprehensive and organized documentation of requirements and design in support of our internal user base.
• Develop comprehensive user guides, training materials, and documentation for reporting tools, processes, and best practices.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance end-user proficiency in SAP analytics tools.

Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in SAP reporting and analytics, with demonstrated leadership skills and a proven track record of managing and developing individual resources and teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Datasphere, SAP Databricks, and other SAP reporting tools.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP modules and their data structures.
• Exceptional project management skills, including experience with Agile or other methodologies
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with predictive analytics and machine learning integration in SAP platforms.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its reporting capabilities.
• Certification in SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW/4HANA, or Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
