TD IT Operations is home to a team of highly-valued professionals recognized for both their customer-service mindsets and dedication to seamless 24-7 running of our infrastructure technologies. They also manage what we call the implementation and delivery life cycle for IT components across the various technology groups. Component installation, maintenance and decommissioning, operational or help desk support, system performance, capacity and availability monitoring, migration, emerging technology assessment, implementation, release management and deployment support - you name it.

Job Description We are looking for someone to manage a team of IT professionals in providing oversight, support, and solutions to the organization in removing and remediating vulnerabilities from the infrastructure environments.
This is a new role to the Bank and as such you'll help define the standards and structure of the team, while partnering closely with The Enterprise Patching, Enterprise Protect and other ITS and TS teams to ensure standards are met and business objectives are achieved.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Create, implement, and document the policies and procedures for the Vulnerability Remediation Office
• Understand and contribute to the vulnerability risk posture of the Bank
• Help develop and design solutions to remediate vulnerabilities in TD
• Design and implement appropriate metrics withing the teams and the Bank
• Lead co-ordination between multiple teams, Enterprise Patching, Currency Factory, Enterprise Protect among others.
• Will be part of the Patching and Vulnerability leadership team
CUSTOMER
• Manage the operations of the Vulnerability Remediation office to support the analysis, removal, and remediation of infrastructure vulnerabilities.
• Drive incident, problem, and change management and production readiness for solutions related to vulnerability remediation.
• Oversee the production of detailed operational and key service-oriented availability metrics
• Ensure timely and effective resolution of problems relating vulnerabilities.
• Manage crisis situations and oversee the coordination of problem escalation and recovery processes
• Coordinate post-incident reviews and service quality review sessions
• Participate in developing the strategic direction of Vulnerability Remediation Office
• Work with clients to prepare comprehensive IT solutions that exceed client and partner objectives
• Consult with partners on technology controls and Information Security programs, policies, standards and incidents as it relates to vulnerabilities.
• Adhere to and advise on, oversee, monitor, enforce enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to patching and vulnerability activities.
• Grow team expertise so it aligns with company demand and TD's direction; assess team skills and capabilities and find ways to improve value delivered.
• Responsible for management of the overall team(s) providing both leadership and guidance.
• Set targets and objectives for the team.
• Provide coaching, development, succession, recruitment, resource management and overall team leadership for team members, regularly contribute to performance and development plans.
• Lead effort to test, debug, and performance analyze on vulnerability remediation solutions.
• Provide insight, information and recommendations on industry trends
Requirements SHAREHOLDER
• Set the standards for operations and manageability across the entire Technology organization ensuring solutions are built from the ground up
• Measure and monitor the level of service, analyze trends, agree on service target levels, and determine appropriate actions
• Ensure operational, reputational, and proprietary risks are minimized and focus on process improvement
• Follow process management discipline for change management of all systems managed
• Maintain effective dialogue with regulatory bodies and standards organizations
• Ensure compliance with well-defined enterprise technology delivery practices and standards and project management disciplines
• Support / develop sound business cases with an on-going focus on reusability, scalability, innovation, and enterprise-wide solutions
• Ensure all testing, quality assurance and post-implementation reviews are conducted against critical success factors.
• Continuously improve timeliness of delivery while balancing quality and price of solutions / services offered
• May manage appropriate recovery of costs to ensure effective cost management within own area and may develop / manage budgets for IT related activities
• Continuously enhance knowledge and expertise in own area and keep current with industry
• Responsible for management of the overall team providing both leadership and technical guidance; set targets and objectives for the team, and deliver results
Grow team expertise to align with enterprise demand and the Bank's business / technology direction; assess team skills and capabilities and continually look for ways to provide and enhance the value delivered
Foster an environment / culture that encourages productivity, innovation, process improvement, teamwork and a high level of professionalism
Provide coaching, development, succession, recruitment, resource management and overall team leadership for team members and provide regular input into team members' assessment of performance and development plans identify opportunities and implement solutions to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency of the business unit and/or team
Establish effective relationships across multiple business and technology partners, program and project managers
