The Finance Business Partner acts as a collaboration partner between leadership of the supported function, KPMGI Finance and with the Finance Director / Senior Manager.

Reporting to the Director or Sr Manager, this role will manage the full scope of finance activities associated with specific budgets within one of the clusters groups, with directional guidance from Manager. The Finance Business Partner acts as a collaboration partner between leadership of the supported function, KPMGI Finance and with the Finance Director / Senior Manager.
What you will do
- Responsible for execution of all controlling activities, spanning FP&A, budgets, forecasts, expenditure controls, invoicing, in coordination with reporting manager and Portfolio Lead and in close collaboration with other team members
- Manage and execute period close activities, including accruals, adjustments, reporting and analysis
- Analyze, seek business insight and prepare commentaries about financial performance of the supported budget areas
- Ensure functional stakeholders are presented with accurate, comprehensive and timely finance information to enable effective decision making
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships with stakeholders in the supported Global teams
- Manage junior members of the team, including offshore resources, assisting with skill development and facilitating continuous improvement efforts
- Undergraduate degree in business or finance
- CPA or other comparable accounting qualification or relevant experience
- Experience communicating with key stakeholders and business leaders
- 5+ years' of progressive financial and management accounting experience preferably in a large, multinational, professional services environment
- Breadth of experience with internal controls, accounting best practices, business analysis and ERP system optimization
