The Diversity & Inclusion Manager will play a meaningful role in leading and executing our diversity and inclusion (D&I) strategy and initiatives for the Canadian Division of The Home Depot. You will work closely with the Diversity & Inclusion Leadership Council, Associate Resource Groups, all HR functional areas, and business leaders to drive business results through D&I. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Organizational Effectiveness, Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Management.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development, planning and execution of D&I strategies and initiatives to achieve higher levels of diversity representation, develop equitable leaders, and create an inclusive environment.Partner with key stakeholder groups and the broader HR function to embed diversity & inclusion strategies within core processes to drive measurable results within our talent and engagement strategies.Analyze, evaluate and report on diversity and inclusion data to provide progress measurements on diversity and inclusion initiatives.Develop, oversee and manage implementation of the division's Accessibility Plan.Provide direction and be a trusted partner to our associate resource groups to drive impact and engagementContinuously engage leaders on evolving our diversity and inclusion strategies within broader business areasAct as a thought leader, subject matter expert, and change agent to drive required culture, behavioural and systemic changesProvide strategic guidance and advice on policies, processes and procedures related to diversity & inclusion.Key QualificationsPrevious experience in a corporate diversity & inclusion setting with demonstrated passion and success in changing the organizational conversation around diversity and inclusionExperience leading the planning, delivery and implementation of large projects and initiativesTrack record in managing meaningful and sustainable organizational change and producing measurable results, preferably in relation to diversity and inclusionUndergraduate degree or higher in human resources, business, social sciences or related fieldFoundational knowledge of relevant legislation, frameworks and current body of knowledge in the area of diversity, equity and inclusion, particularly in Canada.Demonstrated currency and thought leadership in the field of diversity and inclusion, including recent trends and critical issues from a corporate perspectiveExcellent interpersonal, communication and conflict management skillsAbility to develop and build strong relationships both internally and externallyAbility to exercise sound judgment and solve problemsStrong facilitation and presentation skillsProficient use of Microsoft OfficeVolunteer or board experience related to diversity and inclusion would be an assetClosing Statement
