Our Purpose
At Deloitte, our Purpose is to make an impact that matters. We exist to inspire and help our people, organizations, communities, and countries to thrive by building a better future. Our work underpins a prosperous society where people can find meaning and opportunity. It builds consumer and business confidence, empowers organizations to find imaginative ways of deploying capital, enables fair, trusted, and functioning social and economic institutions, and allows our friends, families, and communities to enjoy the quality of life that comes with a sustainable future. And as the largest 100% Canadian-owned and operated professional services firm in our country, we are proud to work alongside our clients to make a positive impact for all Canadians.
By living our Purpose, we will make an impact that matters.
Deloitte Global is the engine of the Deloitte network. Our professionals reach across disciplines and borders to develop and lead global initiatives. We deliver strategic programs and services that unite our organization.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Manager level Cloud Security Solutions leader who combines strategic thinking with relentless execution. This role is for a proven executor, not a theorist-someone who turns ideas into action, drives outcomes under ambiguity, and consistently delivers results.
The ideal candidate operates with autonomy, brings clear recommendations and thought leadership, and does not wait to be told what to do next. You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, capable of influencing stakeholders, facilitating proof of value engagements, and shaping cloud security strategy through compelling narratives. This is a high accountability role where failure is not an option, and ownership, follow through, and delivery excellence are expected.
What will your typical day look like?
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Security Solutions & Execution
• Own the end to end execution of cloud security solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP-moving from problem definition to delivered outcomes.
• Apply strong critical thinking skills with a bias toward execution, ensuring solutions are practical, implementable, and measurable.
• Translate cloud security strategy into actionable plans, and drive those plans to completion.
• Execute effectively with broad direction, independently setting priorities, approach, and next steps.
• Manage and deliver on multiple concurrent assignments, maintaining quality, momentum, and accountability.
• Bring clear recommendations and decisions, not open ended questions or requests for direction.
Proof of Value & Stakeholder Leadership
• Lead and facilitate proof of value (PoV) working group sessions focused on cloud security controls, risk reduction, and business impact.
• Produce a concise, executive ready After Action Report (AAR) for each PoV that:
• Clearly documents PoV objectives, scope, and outcomes
• Summarizes key findings, validated value, and material risks
• Provides clear recommendations and a defined path forward
• Identifies owners, decisions made, and execution next steps
• Use the AAR as a formal mechanism to drive accountability, inform leadership decisions, and accelerate adoption or remediation.
• Establish credibility and trust through strong preparation, structured facilitation, and disciplined follow through.
• Drive sessions toward outcomes, decisions, and next steps-not theoretical discussion.
• Partner with engineering, security, architecture, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are adopted and operationalized.
• Hold yourself and others accountable to results.
Strategic Communication & Storytelling
• Serve as an excellent communicator at all levels, including senior and executive stakeholders.
• Create high impact PowerPoint presentations that clearly tell the cloud security story-risk, value, tradeoffs, and execution path.
• Translate complex cloud security concepts into clear, business aligned narratives.
• Clearly articulate the why, what, how, and what's next.
Leadership, Ownership & Initiative
• Operate with a Manager level ownership mindset-seeing initiatives through without constant oversight.
• Demonstrate a "failure is not an option" mentality, proactively identifying and closing execution gaps.
• Take initiative without being asked; identify risks, gaps, and opportunities, and act decisively.
• Lead by example through accountability, decisiveness, and delivery.
Growth, Innovation & Collaboration
• Continuously deepen expertise in cloud security architectures, controls, and best practices.
• Willingly take on initiatives outside of your comfort zone, learning by doing and raising the bar.
• Collaborate effectively across teams while maintaining strong independent execution.
• Think outside the box, but remain grounded in what can realistically be implemented and sustained.

What Success Looks Like in This Role
• You consistently turn cloud security strategy into delivered, measurable outcomes.
