Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

You are a team leader with a proven track record in bringing operational and technical leadership to a reporting practice. You will position yourself as a trusted partner with marketing and sales stakeholders and work with them to define the roadmap of information that will enable their decision making. As the leader, you leverage your technical and analytical acumen to translate this roadmap/plan into actionable milestones for the team to deliver on.

You will lead a group of talented performance analysts whose purpose is to develop reporting solutions via automation across various platform tools like Tableau, Domo and Salesforce Einstein. You are analytical and outcomes-oriented with a fundamental understanding of data automation techniques and their value to strategy. You have experience with agile ways of working and a bias for action, which breaks down barriers and get results fast. You have a "test and learn" mindset.

Under your leadership, the stakeholders you support will benefit from reporting and insights which are timely, accurate, and outcomes-based, in order to drive the right decisions for TELUS Business Solutions.

Here's how
    •By leading a team of data analytics professionals, providing timely and actionable reporting and insights to support decision making across the organization
    •By driving the capabilities of the team to translate business needs into actionable insights, data, and reports
    •By working collaboratively with VP, Director and Manager Stakeholder teams - providing advice and clarity on their data needs and to ensure their decision making is enabled in a timely manner
    •By working in conjunction with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and others, to design innovative data visualizations and implement self-serve reporting tools, such as Tableau and Salesforce Einstein, to deliver enhanced capabilities to end-users
    •By enabling business users and teams to leverage existing data infrastructure through custom dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc queries
    •By implementing best-in-class, end-to-end reporting processes to drive operational efficiencies and improved decision-making
    •By collaborating with the broader Business Intelligence team, to drive the architectural needs / enable data automation and a self-serve platform
    •By mentoring, coaching and providing expert guidance to analysts and other team members


Qualifications:


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •Strong working experience and knowledge in sales performance and planning
    •Strong analytical acumen to differentiate and translate business needs into working requirements for data and pipeline development
    •Adept at breaking down complex data logic and requirements
    •Strong presentation, analytical and data interpretation skills
    •Confidence to engage a broad set of stakeholders and collaborate with all levels of the leadership team
    •Working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL), as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
    •Expert ability to break down / decompose complex data sets and ambiguous problems to tell meaningful business stories
    •6+ years of progressive and relevant work and people leadership experience

Great-to-haves
    •Knowledge of telecommunications business models, measures and metrics
    •Knowledge of Financial KPIs - Cost, ARPU, Accruals, etc
