Job Description
The Manager, Business Agility is responsible for helping to define the tactical solutions best aligned to the Multiline strategy for the General Insurance business which includes, Home and Auto Insurance. Core capabilities include identifying future Multiline Shop & Buy opportunities within TD Insurance, leading opportunity assessments analysis, developing and presenting business cases to the leadership team as well as overseeing the development of new capabilities from requirements gathering to the sustainment strategy and future iterations. The candidate will be responsible for engaging partners across TD Insurance, maintaining relationships and ensuring optimal alignment across many workstreams.
Having responsibility to support the Multiline Shop & Buy initiatives across both, Phone Channel and Digital will require this individual to work in close partnership with various technology teams, Client Advice Centre, Customer Experience (Phone & Digital), Product, Pricing, Data Analytics, Business Architecture, Risk and Control partners as well as Legal and Compliance partners. In addition, close collaboration with Guidewire COE (Centre of Excellence) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across TD Insurance and the Bank will be critical to success.
The successful individual will need to be adaptive and resourceful to get work done in an agile environment and navigate across a complex terrain of stakeholders and partners. The individual will also need to be detailed oriented and be able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on activities that will deliver the most value to both business and customers. Having the ability to think outside the box and imagine the art of the possible beyond obvious constraints is an asset, as is balancing the need to be a 'big picture thinker' with getting work done efficiently and effectively. The individual is also capable of thinking both at a strategic and tactical level with a focus on delivering benefits while always maintaining customer experience as a core consideration with each new capability.

Requirements

Key Accountabilities
  • Support business partners in assessing Multiline opportunities & value-add capabilities
  • Lead opportunity assessment, initiation, and support business case development for Multiline Shop & Buy capabilities in Digital and Phone Channel
  • Responsible to initiate Global intake for opportunities identified by the Multiline POD
  • Support Product Owner in managing new opportunities identified by the POD and Product Journey owners, including prioritization of future initiatives
  • Deliver fast and sustainable results for initiatives identified as key priorities to support our OKRs
  • Exercise influence and strong relationship management to engage and work alongside SMEs from across TD Insurance to see projects through to completion
  • Build material based on the work completed in each sprint and present to key stakeholders at Sprint Showcase

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous Project and Program delivery experience in an Agile environment is required
  • Strong leadership skills, with previous leadership experience is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of General Insurance Product is an asset
  • Foundational understanding of the Guidewire system and its capabilities
  • Inquisitive by nature with strong attention to detail
  • Actively contribute to an environment of innovation with a bias towards action
  • Effective communication skills with key stakeholders at all levels
